Akhil Bagaria is a Brown CS doctoral student working with Professor George Konidaris. In the blog post here, he shares research that will be presented at ICLR this week. Akhil is interested in how artificially intelligent agents can solve complex real-world problems with minimal human intervention and knowledge. His paper investigates how robots could autonomously acquire a particular aspect of intelligent behavior – the ability to break down problems into simpler sub-problems.
You can also read his paper here and watch a video demonstrating robot behaviors learned using his algorithm here.
