To review GE Podcast Theater's second podcast, LifeAfter, Chicago's WBEZ 91.5 turned to Neil deGrasse Tyson, the renowned astrophysicist whose work in providing science education to the public has earned him the Public Welfare Medal from the National Academy of Sciences. LifeAfter examines the issue of how our digital identities linger in cyberspace after our death, and puts artificial intelligence front and center in an unusual scenario: the grieving process. To address that topic, Tyson sought out Professor Michael Littman of Brown University's Department of Computer Science (Brown CS) and co-director of the Humanity Centered Robotics Initiative for a discussion of the science behind the podcast's content.
